About Me
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who specializes in supportive and strength based psychotherapy to help clients meet their goals. I practice individual, family, and couples therapy to help adolescents and adults grow and change into the person they want to be. I support my clients through healing from abuse, divorce, domestic violence, behavioral problems, anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts and more. I am experienced in working with clients from the LGBTQ community, as well as those in non-traditional family/relationship structures. I have experience working with crisis intervention and assessments for hospitalizations
We are in this together
I view therapy as a tool to make changes in our lives. It is a collaborative process between the client and therapist. In our work together we focus on the strengths that one has internally as well as goals to help one improve how they feel about themselves, others and their environment. Each person’s needs and experiences are unique. I work to tailor my services for each individual by helping them feel empowered to identify and address what might be impacting their current situation. We work toward moving to a space of healing and growth, addressing conflicts from past or present in a supportive therapeutic relationship. I believe that we are not alone in this process of change and often I encourage individuals to bring others (families, partners, friends) into the process as we see fit to expand the support outside of the therapeutic relationship.
